dvd toaster From appearances both the CD-ROM and DVD-ROM look alike. The method in which they store information is quite different and therefore can hold a lot more data.

DVD-5 is a singled sided layer with your artwork on the non-data side and has a capacity to hold up to 4.7GB.

DVD-9 is dual layer and has the capacity to hold 8.54GB, but only utilises one side of the DVD, unlike the DVD-10. This allows you to enjoy the larger capacity and have your personalised artwork on the DVD.

DVD-10 has 800MB more capacity than a DVD-9 with 9.4GB. Because DVD-10 utilises both sides of the disc, we are only able to offer a printed circle of text in the centre of the disc.
